The system uses the accelerometer and gyroscope of the smartphone to adjust the playback of your music. The iPhone or iPod Touch is fixed to the turntable with a perspex disc and some sort of adhesive and then communicates with your PC via an app running on your device. Another cool thing about this system is that the iPhone/iPod Touch screen displays the waveform of the audio file. So you can see exactly what you are doing on the turntable itself instead of looking at your screen…geeky, we know.
