Skrillex Comments On His Mainstream Appeal

Well done to a flawless win in three categories won on Sunday the 12^th of February by the multiple nominee Sonny Moore at the Grammy Awards Ceremony. He claimed Best Dance/Electronica Album (Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites), Best Dance Recording (Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites) and Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical (Cinema). This is a giant achievement for the rising EDM DJ and producer who has recently shot right through to mainstream airtime.

Skrill chatted with MTV on the red carpet about his new status as the EDM ‘it’ man: "You know what? I don't really think about that too much because I'm with these guys and I'm doing shows and you don't have much time to reflect when stuff [is] happening so quickly. But at the same time, it's a good thing because it's more. I'm really focused on my label and my music and touring and making great production". "We all live in the moment” he concluded.
