Ali Renault Preps Debut Album

The comeback of Italo disco, one of the most prominent electronic music genres of the 80s, has resulted in a new array of producers adding their own flavor to the genre. Ex-member of Heartbreak Ali Renault has been in the game for nearly a decade during which he released a number of lauded EPs (such as the beautiful Cuffs for instance) and launched two labels: Human Shield for electro and the Italo-dedicated Cyber Dance.

Ali's debut album sees him delivering a set of tracks that move from electro to Italo, house EBM, techno and pretty much everything in between. Album track Fade Away is a co-op between Ali and legendary Italo vocalist/producer/icon Fred Ventura, while tracks such as Dignitas Machine and Zombie Raffle are labeled 'electro-space-funk' and 'John Carpenter-esque' respectively.

We don't have an exact release date yet, but the album will drops sometime this winter.
