The slightly strange music producer/film-maker Quintin Dupieux aka Mr. Oizo has presented his second movie Rubber at Cannes this year. It's about a murderous tyre driven (hee-hee) insane after he witnessed the demise of many of his relatives at the hands of humans. The protagonist roams the desert and makes peoples' heads explode via telekinesis. Well, that must have won the hearts of the audience.

Of course there's fat soundtrack in there as well, done by Oizo and Justice's Gaspard Augo. That probably means it stuffed with distorted synth bass and thunderous beats. Makes on helluva package to chase away unwanted family visits, we say.
