Teebs To Release Debut LP Ardour On Brainfeeder

"The way Avatar looks", that's what Flying Lotus' Brainfeeder label act Teebs' sounds like, or so they say. Well, it does make us look forward to his debut LP, which drops October 18th.

Teebs, (real name Mtendere Mandowa) was born in NYC and first started out as a visual artist. After a move to LA though he joined a collective called My Hollow Drum who inspired him to start exploring electronic music too. He now has an EP under his belt on Svetlana Industries, is featured on Mary Anne Hobbs's Wild Angels and rocked it big at the 2008 Red Bull Music Academy in Barcelona. Not much later he walked into Flying Lotus who saw the potential of his material and invited him to join the Brainfeeder imprint.

Teebs debut LP entitled Ardour features 18 new tracks which are loose, hip hop inspired tracks. The cover art is done by Teebs himself as well.
