Monaco International Clubbing Show

November 11th, 12th and 13th sees the first edition of the Monaco International Clubbing Show, a three day conference/event revolving around the global & music clubbing industry. But with the Amsterdam Dance Event, PopKomm, and Sónar already being major gatherings, do we really need another one?

Well let's see. At first sight we don't see any big differences when comparing MICS to the aforementioned conferences: DJ's, clubbers, promoters and professionals will attend an array of panels, shows, and expositions organised by industry professionals, whilst the night sees Monaco being transformed into clubbers paradise with performances from Boys Noize, Dennis Ferrer and many others. Nice, but nothing new and with the ADE taking place a mere month prior to MICS we question its merit.

All shows and conferences will take place at the Grimaldi forum. There will be shows and expositions for all night life sectors including clubs, bars, restaurants, DJs, labels, architects, sound & light distributors, research agencies, designers and more. There will be showcases demonstrating the latest pieces of technology and know-how.

Just as many other conferences, Monaco International Clubbing Show combines business with pleasure. Besides the day program filled, the night program is well worth the travel as well. The Grimaldi Forum will be transformed in to a clubbers paradise with artists such as Boys Noize, Dennis Ferrer, Bob Sinclair, Tocadisco and others on deck duty.

MICS furthermore offers those who attend the latest in fashion, art and other forms of entertainment. Expect a fashion show by the Monte Carlo Fashion Forum, a Fashion Gallery, expositions of artists who translate the contemporary music scene in to art, a spectacular FMX show and the Bacardi World Flair Championship 2010.
