Moby Debuts Destroyed Microsite

Moby will release his new Destroyed LP next week and ahead of that release, today saw the launch of a dedicated micro site. On the website you can stream his upcoming LP and watch a few photographs shot by Moby during his last international tour.

Moby has always been focused on pushing the creative barriers online and this website is no exception. In collaboration with Soundcloud and Instagram the micro site has become an unique platform which offers much more then just Moby's upcoming Destroyed LP. The website consists out of an interactive map on which you can oversee Moby's global vision for Destroyed which has been written during the nights of his recent tour. Moby explains: "I don't sleep very well when i travel. and as a result, I tend to be awake in cities when everyone else is asleep. That's where this album, and the pictures that accompany it come from."

Besides listening to the album and checking out the photo's Moby took around 2 AM in the cities he visited, fans are encouraged to share their own photos as well. To do so, all you need to do is download the free Instagram iPhone app, tag your uploads with #destroyed and include location data. Your photo will then be added to the map for everybody to explore.

Destroyed will be available in CD, vinyl and digital formats, but also as a book of photography with a CD included. The book is Moby's first book of photography features and features 55 shots taken during his international journey. All formats will be available May 17th.
