Matthew Johnson, Omar S And More At Studio K, AmsterdamWritten by the B&B Crew Wednesday, 10 November 2010 15:00 News - The Dekmantel Collective was founded in 2007 by a group of likeminded friends and music lovers. Their initial target was to present different music in and around Amsterdam which in their eyes was flooded with too much of the same. Their popularity grew quickly and after only three years they have organized events at all of Amsterdam's hotspots. Their latest project is the indoor festival Het Kabinet, held November 26th and 27th and Studio K, Amsterdam. The first night sees UK bass artist Joy Orbison accompanied by Floating Points and a live gig by Actress. The second night sees the Canadian Matthew Johnson on stage who's in the middle of a world tour for his own Agents of Time album and Cobblestone Jazz's latest LP. The night is completed by a three hour set of Omar S. But that ain't all, the second room will be taken over by Recloose, Juju & Jordash as Move D, San Soda, Makam, Serge, Casper Tielrooij, Jan van Kampen, Thomas Martojo, Tom Trago and Antal. Tickets are on sale on the Het Kabinet website, get them here.
