Matthew Herbert Tours Europe With His One Club Project

Producer extraordinaire Matthew Herbert has announced he will be taken his One Club project on tour this summer. A number of dates have already been scheduled across Europe.

 

We've recently been writing about Herb's bizarre triple-EP release, of which the first installment -One One- was released last April. The EP featured no help of fellow musicians or samples, unlike most of Matthew's previous releases

His next LP in the series is entitled One Club which was produced solely with sounds gathered at the German Robert Johnson club. The third EP, One Pig, is created with sounds coming from a single pig which Herbert followed during its life.

As one of the three records recorded at Robert Johnson, the venue will host one of Matt's gigs on July 8th. Afterwards, Herbert will hit the Les Ardents Festival in Belgium. July 31st will see Herbert perform at Victoria Park, London, and August 5th he will do a gig at the Big Chill Festival, Wales!
