News - UKs Matt Tolfrey is the first to drop a Through The Eyes Of compilation, a new series from Derrick May and Luke Solomon's Classic label...
For this new series, artists are asked to pick their favourite less known tracks from the imprint. Matt Tolfreyis in charge of the first edition of this new series, having been a fan of the label for a long time: "I own every Classic record ever sold so this made the final track listing decisions very interesting. I stayed clear of anything too obvious and dug deep to find those B side gems that always make you stand out from the pack.” The compilation kicks off with a mini mix of classic tracks, followed by 14 tracks from Classic’s back catalogue. The mix furthermore includes four new remixes by Pezzner, Sam Russo and Tolfrey himself which have not been released before. Matt Tolfrey’s Through The Eyes Of will be released digitally December 12th.
