Mathew Jonson has prepped a new EP entitled Learning To Fly, which will be released on Richie Hawtin's Minus imprint this June. It will be his second EP release on Minus, following 2004s massive hit Decompression... Click below for details.

The release of Decompression back in 2004 was the Vancouver-born and Berlin based producer's debut EP on the imprint of his fellow Canadian Richie Hawtin. His upcoming EP marks his return to the label. Mathew Jonson explains: "Richie Hawtin is someone who has always inspired me to take my work to new levels, so it's fitting that Learning To Fly will be released on Minus.". The title track of the EP is a 12-minute long sci-fi techno affair, while the b-side offers a dub version of the title track. “For me this piece reflects clarity and harmony” Jonson says.

Learning To Fly will be released June 13^th on vinyl and will be available digitally June 15^th.
