Major Lazer And La Roux Team UpWritten by the B&B Crew Wednesday, 26 May 2010 18:00 NewsBoth Baltimore club/ghetto booty/whatever-they-call-it-these-days funkiest (Diplo & Switch, indeed) are no strangers to the art of mixtaping. Diplo was the one who produced M.I.A's 2004 Piracy Funds Terrorism vol. 1 and later on did a mix tape with Santigold. Switch did some funky dubsteppian mixing on the side as well, while being the producer of M.I.A.'s (yes, she know where to get the good stuff) Kala album and a regular name alongside Sinden. The two now give La Roux the mixtape treatment and completely cut up the band's material. La Roux on their turn recorded some extra beats to complete the new arrangement. The 14 track mixtape opens with a Bulletproof rework while also presenting some fresh stuff too. All we can say is get your asses over to the Mad Decent website, download the mixtape and let us know what you think! Tracklist 'Lazerproof':
