The Berlin based imprint Minus is about to release Magda’s debut album From The Fallen Page on October 22nd. And it's not quite anywhere near minimal...
Magda squeezed out a couple of very enjoyable mix compilations over the past few years (check out her lovely Fabric 49 mix or the profound mixing that is the She's A Dancing Machine mash), but no real artist albums yet. We've been told that her album is going to be a post-punk disco affair that slowly evolves into a more percussive, bassline-heavy trip. Nope, that's not looking very minimal to us, but we're definitely looking forward to it.
