Lowlands Festival 2011 Sells Out In 2 Hours

It's official; Lowlands 2011 is SOLD OUT... just 2 hours after the tickets went on sale and without a single name on the lineup being revealed...

Not long ago the new Dutch government announced to increase taxes on all things cultural and artistic (including dance festivals) from 6% to a whopping 19%. The Dutch have screamed out loud against this change but to no avail, which lead to a number promotors -including Lowlands organisator Moho- deciding to start selling tickets before the tax raise goes in effect. Lowlands 2011 tickets in fact went for sale through the digital ticket channels this morning at 11:00 sharp. Within 2 hours nearly all tickets were gone and just now Mojo announced that Lowlands 2011 is SOLD OUT.

Please be aware tickets sold through (illegally) by third party sites at absurd high rates are most likely to be declared invalid (and as a result become available again)! Only buy your tickets through the official channels! Lowlands 2011 will take place in Biddinghuizen, NL on August 19th, 20th and 21st, 2011. The lineup is yet to be announced.
