Loopmasters Introduce DJ Mixtools

Last week Loopmasters introduced a brand new concept to make the life of DJ’s and artist just a bit easier. Buy a track and be able to separate it in to it’s key elements and have royalty free access to it…that's basically the essence of DJ Mixtools.

This may sound a bit familiar since we reported just a little while ago about Itchie Clips. A concept where you can buy tracks and get all the Ableton clips and parts with it to edit, remix and re-arrange. The main difference with DJ Mixtools is the fact it’s more professional in its set-up and there are no Ableton clips but longer parts which are accompanied by asd Ableton files.

Created by respected producers each of the DJ Mixtool packages include 4 tracks in the same BPM and key including the loose parts ready to use in your set or any other way you like. All parts are fully Ableton Live ready, and since the tracks in the package are royalty free you can even release your recorded DJ sets without any legal issues.

We at BnB downloaded one of the packages and played around with the parts included in the zip file. We have to say it's pretty cool to be able to play around with the composition and arrangement and we could see ourselves using this in actual DJ sets. Remember though, this is not an sample pack so it's not that suitable for production purposes.

The first three packages are Tech-house & Deep Minimal, Minimal Underground Techno and The Swedish House Maffia. Other packs to follow include Minimal Underground Techno, Tech House, Deep & Soulful, Deep Minimal, Dubstep, Drum n Bass and Trance with plenty more on schedule.
