Iranian-born but UK based producer of IDM and experimental pop, Leila, will be releasing her latest project on Warp Records this January...

 

 

U&I, as the album is titled, will be Leila’s first full length project since her 2008 Warp debut Blood, Looms & Blooms. Next to Warp, Leila has released work on Rephlex and was featured on Nicolette Suwoton’s 1997 DJ KiCKS compilation with one of her Gramatix tracks. She also released tracks under the guise of Little Mis Specta on Polydor and One Little Indian.

For her new LP U&I Leila has joined forces American vocalist/producer Mt. Sims, who released the album Tomorrow, In A Year together with Planningtorock and The Knife.

Leila’s U&I will be released January 23rd on Warp Records.
