Lee 'Scratch' Perry Presents His Revelation

Lee 'Scratch' Perry will release a new album entitled Revelation on August 10 on MVD Audio. That's pretty f*cking irie on its own, but the fact that Rolling Stone's Keith Richards and P-funk inventor George Clinton pop in for collabs too make it all the more worthwile looking out for.


The jamaican nestor of dub music has recorded the album in his own Swiss studio together with long term member of Perry's band The Upsetters Steve Marshal. It will be the third album on which the two function as executive producers, with The End Of An American Dream and Scratch Came, Scratch Saw, Scratch Conquered as its predecessors. Information regarding the collabs has not yet been revealed yet, but we'll fill you in as soon as the word hits the streets.
