LCD Soundsystem's front man James Murphy recently announced that the band's third album will be released on May 17th.
The album's title has yet to be revealed, but some of the track titles already have been made public. Song such as Dance Yrself Clean, Drunk Girls, One Touch, All I Want, Change, and Hit will be featured, as well as Pow Pow, Somebody's Calling Me and What You Need. James Murphy himself has been in charge of production duties as recording took place at his L.A.-based The Manshun studio.
The outfit's previous album Sound Of Silver (2007) has been widely regarded one of the best albums of that year, setting the stakes high for other groups in the field of rock/electronic cross-overs. Inevitably, the question arises if LCD SS will be able to top that one theirselves. We're pretty convinced that this album will turn out great once more, as we can't recall to have heard anything 'meh' in the band's history.
