LCD Soundsystem And Hot Chip Form New Band

The two bands have joined forces to form a new electronic pop outfit: New Build.

New Build's core consists of LCD Soudsystem's Al Doyle, Hot Chip's Felix Martin and engineer Tom Hopkins, but the band is open to contributions from likeminded artists as well. LCD Soundsystem drummer Pat Mahoney has been contributing to some of the band's early tracks, and their upcoming debut single Misery Loves Company (TBR on November 28th on their own Lanark Recordings label in a imited 500 copy run) features a remix by Planningtorock.
