Thursday 21st April Disco Bloodbath’s 4th Birthday / Easter Rave Ostgut Ton’s London Label Showcase CAMP’s 1st Birthday: The secretsundaze, Horse Meat Disco, Livin’ Proof & Revive.HER DJ crews all pay homage to this fine bar / club which has made it to one fine year old. Happy birthday CAMP! Shake It presents Intec & Crosstown Rebels: MAJOR techno party alert! Carl Cox is in the house with big-room Shake It dons Layo & Bushwachka! and Jon Rundel, plus Damian Lazarus’s Crosstown Rebels keep it more minimal-tech with Art Department and Clive Henry. Plus disco and house from Andy Butler and Kim Ann Foxman (from Hercules & Love Affair) alongside Pete Herbert and Yousef. Friday 22nd April Potty Mouth Disco: Tiga’s Turbo and Michael Mayer’s Kompakt help combine house, electro and disco with Gesaffelstein and Thomas Von Party and Kolsch and Geoffrey Mugwump respectively. Serious sounds, but friendly vibes. Cocadisco: Disco and Italo from Wolfram (who has a single out soon on Andy Butler’s MR.INTL) who launches his new album at this excellent night – good to see it back on the block. Saturday 23rd April Boy’s Own Presents… Frankie Knuckles @ XOYO fabric: Steve Bug and Jamie Jones rule it with deep tech-house in Room 1, plus Andrew Weatherall shows the usual brilliance in Room 2 alongside fellow techno dons Slam and proto-house and disco man Andy Blake, in a truly stunning line-up. Room 3 is all about Hot Natured with Subb-An live, Russ Yallop and newboy Richie Ahmed (also of Kubicle) too. Sunday 24th April Junk Department Warehouse @ Secret East London Location: The South Coast club comes to London with none other than Chi-town house legend DJ Sneak in the mix, alongside Frenchman Shonky and Veryverywrongindeed’s Tim Sheridan too. Plus Craig Torrance (Four: Twenty) and Zombies Soundsystem man Shane Watcha too. House until the break of dawn… Metro Area @ East Village: Rare London show from the NYC deep house heroes Morgan Geist and Darshan Jesrani. Every kind of beat you could possibly need, of the 4/4 variety.
