London's Horse Meat Disco is no stranger to big-time guest DJs, but even by their standards Juan Maclean (DFA) is something special. He's DJing at The Eagle on Sunday 23rd May, so he can celebrate the launch of his new !K7 compilation at one of his favourite clubs...

Horse Meat Disco has had everyone from Tim Sweeney to Daniele Balldelli as guests, but it's still a coup for them to book Juan Maclean. However he's far from a stranger to the club, as Horse Meat's co-promoter and resident James Hillard explains.

'The DFA guys always get a good crowd down,' says James, 'and although this will be his first time playing, it's certainly not Juan's first time through the doors. He's a big fan of the club and has even mentioned us in his sleeve notes for his upcoming compilation.

'Juan's music is party music, it's fun and it's amazing! He's taking it back to when house was at its most exciting and raw. Happy House was a big hit all over the place and especially at Horse Meat Disco.' Sounds like a match made in disco heaven to us.
