Minimal techno producer John Tejada and guitarist Takeshi Nishimoto, who together form IDM/indie dream pop band I’m Not A Gun, are about to release their fifth album Solace on City Centre Offices next month. Click below for all info.
LA-based producer John Tejada and Berlin-based guitarist Takeshi Nishimoto have been working together since 2003. They debuted with the Everyting At Once album and at the time showed a new and different aspect of Tejada who is best known as a tech house-orientated artist. As I’m Not A Gun though he concentrates on live instruments and IDM sounding tracks together with Nishimoto, although we still clearly hear Tejada's subtle signature sounds. We're eager to get our hands on this one.
Solace follows up their 2008 album Mirror and will be released September 28th on City Centre Offices.
