John Digweed Releases Structures Two This June

Following last year’s critically acclaimed first edition, John Digweed is set to release the second installment in his Structures compilation series. Structures Two is scheduled to hit stores June 20^th through Bedrock.

Structures Two will consist of 3 CDs that each show a different facet of John and the Bedrock sound. Just like most Bedrock label compilations, the tracklist for this one will again be a mix of both familiar as lesser known names from the global house, techno and progressive scene. The first CD includes a selection of exclusive remixes from the Bedrock catalogue, merged together by John in a fashionable electronica mix. The second disc is said to be a snapshot of John DJing at one of Los Angeles finest clubs, Avalon, while the third disc spawns full-length club tracks that showcase the sound of Bedrock in 2011. The bundle will be made available as a 3xCD package, a limited 12”release and as a digital download.

Last year’s brilliant Structures compilation was dubbed one of the most exciting releases in the global house and progressive industry by clubbers worldwide, and was awarded the Community Choice Top DJ Mix at the Beatport Music Awards 2010. Click here to read our review.
