iPhone To Enter The Fourth DimensionWritten by the B&B Crew Thursday, 08 April 2010 20:14 NewsThe new iPhone will be made available this summer, more precisely this June, and will feature hundreds (yes! hundreds!) of changes and improvements. One of the biggest advancements is the introduction of multitasking, which is enabled by the implementation of a task switcher that is accessible through the home button. Multitasking? Well, okay, all apps are 'frozen' rather than running in the background. But still. It's limited to audio, VoiP (Skype!), and GPS though. But still. There's a massive amount of new apps around the store too. We've picked some that we thought you might like: App folders: sure, having hundreds of thousands of apps on your homepage is nice and all that, but it's not very practical. The iPhone 4 allows you to place apps in folders. Simple, yet very handy. Game Center: Apple's gonna introduce some sort of arcade-o-rama for your iPhone, complete with multiplayer options! More info (hopefully) soon! 5x digital zoom: the current iPhone comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera that has no particular use for a 5x zoom function. Well, that can only mean that we're gonna see one helluva sweet camera on this thing! iBooks: Hehe. iBooks allows you to download books and read them on your phone whenever you please. Yes, you could also do that with an iPad. But why would you? Did we mention the iPad won't get the new software until Fall? It does. Seriously. Funny eh? The new software will run smoother than Barry White cruising downhill in a 70s Cadillac on the 3GS and all 3rd-gen iPhones. iPhone 3G's will enjoy most of the functions, whereas the 2G will probably explode when trying to install this OSX.
