Horsepower Productions’ Quest For The Sonic Bounty

Horsepower Productions will release their next LP entitled Quest for the Sonic Bounty next month. The London based outfit will release their album on the Tempa imprint.

Front man Benny III and the entire Horsepower crew are credited as one of the most innovative acts in the dubstep genre and are even said to be the first related to the term dubstep in XLR8R's 2002 story on the group. Over the span of its existence, the band's lineup changed every now and then, and from 2004 it took the group 5 years to fully recover and resurface again, which they did with the release of a 12" on Tempa in 2009.

The group's next LP entitled Quest for Sonic Beauty will be released on Tempa and will contain mostly unreleased material and a remix of Lee Scratch Perry's Exercising which up to now as only available as limited edition vinyl.

Quest for Sonic Bounty will be released November 29th.
