HOLIC vs Robosoul Halloween BashWritten by the B&B Crew Tuesday, 26 October 2010 12:00 Halloween party -Ace London house night Holic returns with a Halloween session Saturday 30th October at Brick Lane’s Café 1001. Holic’s Tomoki Tamura is joined by Phil Weeks & Chris Carrier from Robsoul & special guest Satoshi Otsuki, plus Eightbitrate from Artizan Music too. Tomoki Tamura is one of London’s best up-and-coming house DJs and producers, with his tracks like Control and Deep Down showing off his skill as a producer of serious tuneage. He’s someone whose tunes we always look out for, so we’re happy to recommend you get your fix of Halloween fun at his Holic bash at Cafe1001. Chris Carrier is a superb DJ and someone we don’t see in London enough, plus his buddy (and boss of his label, Robsoul) Phil Weeks is a very skilled house DJ too. Plus we’ve been checking out Tamoki’s boy Satoshi Otsuk on Youtube – he’s one seriously jacking DJ alright; as you would expect from someone hooked up with Womb, one of the best clubs in the whole world. And while all that house is kicking off in the back room, the front room rocks with the Freakbeat Halloween Party, with live bands The Fucking Death and Members Of The Black Manilla playing classic horror rock covers and DJ appearances from the Rumble DJs, Sean Wild & Squid Viscous (really) too. Sounds like a very spooky evening…
