Harmonious Thelonious Starts Talking

Stefan Schwander aka Harmonious Thelonious will release his debut album entitled Talking this October on the Italic imprint. And it's shrouded in mystery...

 

Stefan Schwander debuted in 1997 and has been releasing his music under multiple monikers since then. You might know him as Antonelli Electr or A Rocket In Dub. He only released two EP's under his Harmonious Thelonious moniker so far, and the third one will be his debut LP.

He describes his style as "American minimalism vs. African drumming vs. European sequencing", which, to us, sounds a bit ridiculous but intriguing nonetheless. American minimalism... uh, sure man. Anyway, his earlier two EPs are a blend of live drumming, electronic sounds and a 4/4 pulse, to get a taste of that check out the vid below.

His debut album Talking combines 4 unreleased tracks plus 4 tracks that appeared on his On Stage EP.
