Seasoned acid/techno duo Hardfloor are about to drop a 3xCD package to celebrate two decades of rocking 303s and deafening the global techno community in the process…

Simply but effectively titled Two Decades Of Hardfloor, the release documents both the outfit’s earliest work as more recent material and shifting from techno, manic acid to downtempo electro grooves. Although the box doesn’t include any tracks from their most recent album Two Guys,Three Boxes, there will be two previously unreleased cuts in the form of Eternal Tweak and T.D.O.H. (Two Decades Of Hardfloor). Here’s a bit of what you can expect:

Hardfloor are Roman Zenker and Oliver Bondzio, who have been working together as early as 1991. Their first release Let Da Bass Go saw the light of day through Sven Väth now defunct Eye Q label, but their global breakthrough came with the 1992s Hardtrance Acperience EP, a massive techno hit the world over. Hardfloor’s sound roughly holds the middle between frenzy acid and merciless techno, although their most recent work is unmistakably more organic.
