Half Baked Friday Presents... Lola EdWritten by Manu Ekanayake Tuesday, 20 September 2011 18:23 News -Half Baked is probably the hippest East London Sunday session around: think deep-tech house with a splash of disco in warehouse spaces you’ve never seen before. But on Friday 30th September they're doing something a little different. Half Baked - Open Air from Lukasz Cholewiak on Vimeo. Lola Ed is a DJ agency that represents some of the best European talent around, as epitomised at this special Half Baked / Lola Ed event by Dan Ghenacia (Freak ‘n’ Chic / Crosstown Rebels and a major Parisian DJ), Seuil (aka Alexis Bernard – a Half Baked London resident and a stalwart of the Parisian scene), Anthony Collins ( the Paris-based throbbing house and tech merchant, check this out) and finally Tolga Fidan (who’s not from Paris… he’s from Istanbul, so he’s not even French… but he was also the youngest artist to ever sign to Vakant, so who cares where he’s from?). And while Half Baked is usually a guestlist-only party, this time they are doing tickets via Resident Advisor. But where is it? Well, that’s a secret… see, some things don’t change. You’ll know when you need to know, but suffice to say it’ll be over Eastside, somewhere.
