Gorillaz Reveal Tracklist For Free Album

imageNews -
Gorillaz have just revealed the tracklist for their new album The Fall, which will be released for free on Christmas Day to the band's fan club members.

The news follows shortly after Gorillaz front man Damon Albarn hinted that a new band album was in the making and would be released around Christmas time. Fan club members have the opportunity to get a digital copy of the album for free, while a physical release will be made available later in 2011.

As Damon already revealed earlier, The Fall has been recorded on his iPad over 32 days during the band's US tour. "I did it because there's a lot of time that you just spend staring at walls essentially. And it was a fantastic way of doing it," says Damon on the band's website. "I found working in the day, whether it's in the hotel or in the venue, it was a brilliant way of keeping myself well." Furthermore, Damon explained that the album has become much like a diary: "I literally wrote everything on the day in each place and there's a strange sort of sound of America and its musical traditions that comes through. It feels like a journey through America."
