Synth-rockers Goose will release their new album Synrise October 2010 and early 2011 in the UK & US on the mighty !K7 label. The good news for the UK & US is that the digital version of the LP will be made available as early as this October...

4 years ago Goose stormed the scene with their groundbreaking debut album Bring it On, which for the band was a way to explore unknown territories “Making the first album we wanted to get out of our hometown, travel, see the world and party for most of the week,” says guitarist Dave Martijn. “That’s what Bring It On reflects:  an up-tempo, happy, hands-in-the-air experience. The thing is, everyone is doing that now.”

Their new album entitled Synrise relies on ‘70’s space disco like Automat and 80’s movie soundtracks. The result is an album filled with dance tunes build around pop structures. “Synrise feels like a new start to us. We’re proud that we’ve written an album with a specific vision that’s coherent. It has one story and works as a whole. Writing an album is the hardest thing because of all the possible options and directions. Sometimes you want to leave it all behind and go into an other direction, but you can’t do it, because you have made a commitment.”
