Gonjasufi To Drop Remix Album

This one just might be one of the most exciting in the avant-garde/experimental genre this year: we're talking about Gonjasufi's remix album The Caliphs Tea Party featuring contributions from Bibio, Mark Pritchard, Schlohmo and many more...

The new album promises to be a varied blend of reworks, yet all within the more experimental fields of electronic music. Producers such as Bibio, Warp's Broadcast & The Focus Group, MRR and Damn Mantle have added their tocuh to the work of the avant-garde hiphop-producer, whose album A Sufi And A Killer is among the best albums of 2010. The Calips Tea Party will be released October 4th on Warp.

But there's more, and that may even be more exciting. Gonjasufi has launched a remix contest for which he offers vocal parts of his tracks for free. Check out this page for all info.
