Get Your Plastikman Remix Featured In The Arkives

We guess you have heard of the massive Plastikman Arkives which is on pre-sale at the moment. Well guess what... You can make it on there as well with the Plastikman remix competition by Burn Studios.

The Plastikman Arkives is a comprehensive made-to-order box set that pulls together 17 years of Plastikman history. In total it includes 11 CDs, a DVD, a 64-page booklet, newly re-mastered versions of all six previous albums and five more CDs with rare, unreleased sessions and new material. You as aspiring producer can make it on there as well with the remix competition set up by online community platform Burn Studios.

The track up for remix is Ask Yourself, an ambient and minimal track that was featured on the 5th studio album of Plastikman entitled Closer and is included in the current live-show as well. You can download all the parts including bassline, strings, midi and vocals on Resident Advisor and Burn Studios and after you have done your magic you submit it to Burn Studios again. Hawtin himself will listen to all the submitted tracks and pick the winner.

Besides an appearance in the Arkives box you can also win a Avid Gift Voucher of € 2500. Avid is the company behind all M-Audio and Pro-tools equipment so € 2500equals some serious studio equipment. To finish it all of the winner will also be awarded a Soundcloud Pro account worth € 250,-. Sweet!

The five runner ups are also awarded with a nice reward for their efforts in the form of an M-Audio Torq Mixlab DJ Kit, an Avid Recording Studio package and a Soundcloud Lite account. The competition runs from November 15th until December 31st and the winner will be announced January 15th.
