From App To VST: Bleep!BOX

We've already seen numerous VSTs being converted into iPad and iPhone apps, but Bleep!BOX does it the other way around. The drum synth, originally released as an app, will soon be available as a PC and MAC-compatible VST...




With all these VST-turned-apps being made available for use on mobile phones, our lifelong wish of having a pocket-sized studio available at our command was more or less fulfilled. Of course it's nowhere near the real thing, but at least we could make 'notes' anytime ideas popped up (which as you know usually happens when you're the furthest away from your workspace...). Now, the cool thing about Bleep!BOX is that it loads your on-the-road sketches directly in your PC or MAC host sequencer. And since the VST version of Bleep!BOX will include pretty much the same options and features as found on any other drum sequencer, we'd say this is a great solution to producers who frequently find themselves away from the studio.
