Friendly Fires Go Bugged Out!

British indie dance pop hotshots Friendly Fires have mixed the next in the famed Bugged Out! Presents Suck My Deck series, which is due for release September 27th, 2010. The tracklist? Not quite what we expected from the band...




... but that does not mean it's disappointing. Because it's really far from that.
Prejudiced as we are, we already prepared ourselves for some kind of indie pop meets Junior Boys kinda mix but the band show a completely different side of themselves by presenting an interesting blend of 80s electro, nu-disco, and techno with house bits gently mixed in. One of the most remarkable tracks on the tracklist is Friendly Fires and Azari & III's Stay Here, which was produced especially for this mix and sees FF turning to house. FF's Edd Gibson: "It's an interesting sideline for us to make a house track because we listen to a lot of house music."
