Freude Am Tanzen Announces 5zig

Germany's much lauded Freude Am Tanzen imprint celebrates its 50th release with a compilation featuring the cream of the label's talent...






Over the past ten years, Freude Am Tanzen has turned itself into a number one source for high quality house and minimal grooves delivered by such names as Mathias Kaden, Robag Wruhme, and Marek Hemman amongst others. And while 50 releases in ten years may not seem much, it definitely says something about the label's quality control, which has been convincingly consistent.

The compilation, titled 5zig, sounds unmistakably 'FAT', while at the same time providing insight in the label's future. Artwork and concept wise things revolve around the culinary art of soup making, a theme well played out across the album cover and the promo video (watch below):
