Frankie Knuckles Parties at XOYO

Frankie Knuckles is coming to London for an intimate gig at XOYO in Shoreditch on Saturday 23rd April. If you’re a househead, you won’t need to hear any more...

They don’t come much bigger than Frankie Knuckles – after all, his style of music helped coin the term ‘house music’, as his followers termed the music he played at Chicago’s Warehouse club back in the early 80s. Since then he’s been a standard bearer for the sound, which has developed into a movement which is still filling clubs and making weekends more exciting more than 20 years later.

So in-keeping with Frankie’s legendary status, London’s infamous acid house party-starters Boy’s Own (and Frankie's own Def Mix crew) present an intimate evening with the man himself, along with their own Terry Farley and good friends Darren and Spencer Nunes too. This will be the first in a series of intimate get-togethers with house music greats, we’re told. And they certainly couldn’t get anyone better in to kick things off. We just hope there are still tickets available…
