Fabric’s 12th Birthday Antics (Starring Moodyman, Ricardo and Pearson Sound)Written by Manu Ekanayake Monday, 17 October 2011 20:00 News -Expect a weekend of madness, starting on Friday 21st October and ending on Monday 24th October at 5am. Yeah, they’re partying all the way through from Sat night again…Happy Birthday Fabbers! fabric might be reaching venerable status in London clubbing terms (12 years is an impressive reign) but it’s still got its fingers firmly on the pulse. Friday sees everything get big and bassy in true fabriclive style, with their boy Caspa’s Dub Police residency running things in Room 1 with the usual block-rocking line-up. Meanwhile Room 2 is the lair of dubstep fanatic MistaJam, who’s got a diverse line-up with the likes of D’n’B don Goldie and grime obsessive Logan Sama, plus the mighty D Double E too. And finally Room 3 has Med School making an appearance. They’re an off-shoot of Hospital Records (see what they did with the name there?) and that should be all you need to know… Then we come to Saturday… which goes all the way through until Monday morning. And they’re packing in the heavy hitters here, with superstars like the messed-up maestro Ricardo Villalobos and the infamous househead Moodyman sharing Room 1 with Pearson Sound (who not so long ago would have been on the Friday line-up as Ramadanman, how things change) and Cocoon don Rahdoo. Room 2 takes a heavier approach, as per, with Berghain man Ben Klock showing how you rock a heavy techno set that’s still full of rhythm and Peter Van Hosen’s LIVE set is sure to be showstopper. Finally over in Room 3 there’s Soul Clap and their mate Lee Foss, but on Sunday from 6pm (until 3am) the Kubicle girls take over with their own brand of debauched, costume-loving partying with the help of DJ Three, whose West Coast US sounds should help anyone who’s feeling the pain on the home strait. We just hope no one’s planning to try and work on Monday morning... Full line-ups here: http://www.fabriclondon.com/club/listings/
