Fabric 58: Craig Richards Presents The Nothing Special

The next edition in the Fabric mix series will be compiled and mixed by Craig Richards. The compilation will go by the name of The Nothing Special, reflecting the diversity and steadfast nature he is renowned for.

Craig Richards has been at the head of the musical direction of Fabric since its birth. During his time as musical director and resident DJ he formed and shaped the musical output of the London-based club and its compilation series, and therefore played an important role in the electronic music scene as a whole. Nevertheless, Richards has not been afraid to experiment and adapted his sets to the acts he's invited to the club, not the other way around.

Craig's mix for Fabric will go by the name of The Nothing Special, and showcases his wide taste in music while echoing his obscure and considered approach. Looking at the tracklist, we come across the names of Andrew Weatherall and Keith 'Radioactive Man' Tenniswood's Two Lone Swordsmen alias, Housey Doingz, Conscious Minds and Chicago legend Gemini amongst others. Excellent.

Fabric 58 mixed and compiled by Craig Richards will be released July 11^th.
