Electric Daisy, Not The Best Carnival

A few weeks ago we wrote about the Electric Daisy Carnival in Los Angeles, which on script looked like one of the best events of the season. Well, it actually was pretty great, there were just a bit too many people feeling that way.

The 14th edition of the festival hosted an impressive line-up including Armin van Buuren, Steve Aoki, Deadmau5, Kaskade, Laidback Luke, Lil Jon and Will.I.Am. This line-up pulled in over 185000 people spread over 2 days of music... and that's where the trouble came in.

As you can probably understand overcrowding became a serious issue and left 200 people injured of which a 100 were admitted to a hospital. Furthermore the festival saw 63 arrests by local police. Things got even worse as seen on amateur footage showing up on the web. We hope everything is alright by know and everybody is safely back home.
