Drums Off Chaos To Release Debut LP

Former Can drummer Jaki Liebezeit will release a new album with his new outfit Drums Off Chaos. The album will be released February 28th on the Cologne based Magazine imprint.

During the 70’s, Can was one of the leading bands in German psychedelic rock, or kraut rock. The band members went their own way in 1979 and all joined new projects with Jaki Liebezeit forming Drums Off Chaos, a percussion outfit consisting of 4 Cologne based musicians.

Drums Off Chaos sounds a lot like Can in that sense that it's a blend of hypnotic and tribal style drumming. This style can especially heard in tracks such as Halleluwah and Future Days. The group focusses mainly on live performance and therefore this album is the first “real” album the guys have recorded.

The Drums Off Death LP is the first album to be released on the Magazine imprint. The LP is only available as a full package including vinyl, CD and digital files.
