Catalan producer Dosem, who has been releasing a string of fine, fine minimal house beats and remixes over the past few years, will be releasing his first full-length LP Parallel next June on Technasia’s Sino label…
It cost him four years to finalize it, but the result sounds pretty darn sweet to us to say the leats, and not just because we seriously dig the man’s high-quality output thus far. The album’s concept basically revolves around Dosem’s lifelong fascination of capture in music the images of his favourite sci-fi films. Spread across two CDs, Dosem takes us on a propulsive, 22-track techno trip on the first disc (titled Dosem) with tracks including his much lauded Silent Drop, after which we’re getting transposed to a series of classical sounding ambient electronica on the second disc, Sendo. “Every track talks about a moment, a memory, or a special person,” Dosem explains. “If you go deep into each track, you suddenly find little love stories inside.”
Dosem – Parallell will be out June 6th on Sino. Mark your calendars.
