DJ Yoda To Headline Red Bull Thre3style DJ Competition

Next month sees DJ Yoda bringing the largest DJ competition in the world with Red Bull Thre3style. 24 DJs will battle it out for a chance to be crowned champion…

The mash-up DJ competition takes spinning to a whole new level. Each jock has 10 minutes to impress the Red Bull Thre3style crowd with their mixes which must feature at least three genres of tunes. The competition starts October 2nd at Lave & Ignite, Edinburgh and will continue along Nottingham Oceana, Swansea Oceana, Kingston Oceana and the final will be hosted in Southampton Oceana.

The winner of the competition will receive some time at Red Bull’s studio, a £1,000 and an all-expense paid trip to the birthplace of Red Bull Thre3style; Vancouver, for a change to be crowned international champion.

Red Bull Thre3style started four years ago in Canada and has grown to one of the biggest international DJ competitions. DJ Yoda will head the search for this year’s UK talent, judging the contestants and doing a set each night. I’m really excited about Red Bull Thre3style and

getting the chance to check out some raw UK talent. I will be looking for a DJ with excellent technical ability, but it’s just as important that they can really control the crowd and keep them dancing all night.
