Die Antwoord To Release Second Album

After a relatively long period of silence, South-African Zef-outfit Die Antwoord have announced to release their second album this January.

After having started a massive, self-directed hype in late 2009 and 2010 with tracks such as Enter The Ninja and Evil Boy a.o., Die Antwoord members Ninja and Yo-Landi Vi$$er went on to spread the Zef ('futuristic rave rap') evangely across the globe. Things may have been a bit quiet at the Die Antwoord front as of late, but we just heard that their new album will be called Tension and is slated for a January release. It is said that the album will be "even freakier and more absurd" then their first album $O$, and will feature “hardcore black African voodoo beats”, beatboxing, and even a tribute to getting stoned. Not that we expected anything else, of course...
