Darren Emerson Launches Detone Label

UK DJ/producer Darren Emerson is set to launch his own record label called Detone. The first release will be a new tune by Darren himself and is slated for a June 28th release.

The Detone imprint will primarily release club singles from Darren himself as well as like-minded producers with a fresh vision on electronic music in all its forms. Detone’s first release will bea co-production between Darren and Jamie McHugh and is called Gracelands. The full package comes with remixes by Steve Cobby and Christian Smith.

Amongst many other things, Darren Emerson is most probably best known for having been a member of Underworld, for which he has been producing many of the band's tunes. He left the grouop in 2000 to pursue a solo career not quite without successs. Included in his discography are mix compilations for Global Underground and Underwater Records and tons of releases for artists such as D.Ramirez, Sasha and Gus Gus amongst many others.
