Darkness Falls In Copenhagen

Darkness Falls, a Danish duo with Trentemøller on production duties, is about to release its debut release. And it sounds rather promising to us...






The Copenhagen-based outfit consists of songwriters Josephine Philip (vocals, keyboards), and Ina Lindgreen (guitar, bass), whose sound is rooted in rock with elements of punk, distant beats and chanting being combined to melancholic textures and ethereal sounds. For Trentemoller, the project is another step away from his emotive electronica, although his unmistakable touch is definitely present. The four-track EP will be released on March 7th.
