Crosstown Rebels label boss and cross-over dance experimentalist Damian Lazarus has recently completed Fabric #54, which is due for release September this year.

More news on the album and its contents have not yet been made available. In fact, let's hope his mix ever sees the light of day at all now that the Fabric venue's undergoing a drastic financial makeover. "I hope that the company survives and I'm sure it will,"says Damian. "London will be a much colder place without Fabric. I have just finished making the Fabric 54 mix CD which is due out in September so fingers crossed everything will be ok." Well, the news about Fabric coming out of administration was pretty good, but Damian Lazarus mixing Fabric 54 scales that with ease!
