Fresh from delivering the soundtrack to the TRON flick, Daft Punk have revealed that they are working on new tuneage of their own...
The duo told the LA Times that "“we’ve been working on some of our music concurrently. We like the idea of trying to experiment and do different things we haven’t done in the past.”
What's interesting is that the more danceable tunes Daft Punk produced for the TRON soundtrack didn't make the final cut, but may surface in the near future. According to TRON's music supervisor Jason Bentley, the tracks are “somewhat in limbo…I don’t know if it will come out as a Daft Punk track or bonus material. It’s damn good, and who knows where it will end up”.
We'll be following this with great interest, that's for damn sure.
