Crystal Castles And The Art Of Recycling

8-bit electro outfit Crystal Castles have announced that they will release their second LP Crystal Castles on June 7th. But wait, wasn't that the title of their first album? Yes it was. Album title recycling is so 2010, you know.

Anyway, Ethan Kath and Alice Glass have been recording the 14-track album at a variety of places except for a regular studio, or so it appears. A pick of some the spots they used for their hysterical chiptuned electro thrills: a cabin in Canada, A Detroit garage and an Icelandic church. That's arty, you know. The album will be preceded by a single featuring Doe Deer, which will be limited to 500 copies.
