Up next in the re-issue rally of one of our all time favorite labels, Clone, is a white hot classic that we're sure will cater to all crusties, acid heads and techno junks. The label just revealed that it will re-release 12 classic tracks from The Hague's legendary acid//techno outfit Unit Moebius... Yikes!

Titled 'The Golden Years' (digital version is available here), the release will hit stores, most likely in a limited run, end this May as a Clone Classic Cut issue. The LP will feature 12 tracks produced between the early and mid-nineties, when the outfit was among the most notorious in its niche.

Unit Moebius consisted of Menno van Os, Jan Duivenvoorden, Guy Tavares (who now runs the Bunker label), and Ferenc van der Sluijs aka I-F, the driving behind Intergalactic FM and formerly CBS (Cybernetic Broadcasting System). The group played a pivotal role in establishing the city of The Hage as a breeding ground for raw underground acid, techno, electro and disco, something which is still a present force in the local music and squatting scene.
