Clone To Re-Release Unit Moebius' The Golden YearsWritten by the B&B Crew Tuesday, 17 May 2011 23:56 News - Titled 'The Golden Years' (digital version is available here), the release will hit stores, most likely in a limited run, end this May as a Clone Classic Cut issue. The LP will feature 12 tracks produced between the early and mid-nineties, when the outfit was among the most notorious in its niche. Unit Moebius consisted of Menno van Os, Jan Duivenvoorden, Guy Tavares (who now runs the Bunker label), and Ferenc van der Sluijs aka I-F, the driving behind Intergalactic FM and formerly CBS (Cybernetic Broadcasting System). The group played a pivotal role in establishing the city of The Hage as a breeding ground for raw underground acid, techno, electro and disco, something which is still a present force in the local music and squatting scene.
